The InterCushion device is a load-bearing replacement for a patient's degenerated disc. The use of the intra-operative assembly technology for this device allows the same less-invasive approach to the disc as the InterFuse® Interbody Fusion Device.

The InterCushion device also provides the ability to maximize the device footprint to spread the spinal loads over more of the endplate and minimize the potential for device movement. Along with the cushioning effect of a proprietary biocompatible elastomeric polymer, the InterCushion device will combine the state-of-the-art technology for the patient with ease of implantation for the surgeon.
